Sahurdha Dayada

Wickramasinghepura Leo Club successfully organized and executed Project “Sahurda Dayada 4.0 - Phase 01” a heartfelt initiative aimed at bringing warmth and comfort to the patients of Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama. on August 8th, 2024, from 11 am onwards. This project was a testament to the power of community and the profound impact that collective efforts can have on the lives of those in need. The primary objective of Project “Sahurda Dayada 4.0 - Phase 01” was to provide a nutritious and delicious meal to the 1200 patients at the hospital. This wasn't just any meal; it was the best and most expensive menu available, specially curated to ensure that the patients received high-quality, nutritious food. The menu was thoughtfully selected to meet the dietary needs of the patients while also offering a sense of indulgence, something that could bring a moment of joy in their challenging circumstances.

Sathkaara 2.0

The Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura organized the project “Sathkaara”, a breakfast donation at the Wanduwa Siri Pawarindaramaya Dhamma School in Balapitiya on August 18th. We provided breakfast to 80 students, ranging from grades 1 to 8, along with 7 teachers. The menu consisted of string hoppers, eggs, dhal curry, and coconut sambal, followed by yogurt for dessert. Since this dhamma school is small and rarely receives support, we aimed to fill that gap with our contribution.
