Sahurdha Dayada 4.2
Project Sahurda Dayada 4.2, organized by the Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura, was held on December 8th, 2024,
at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama, with the aim of bringing care and joy to patients in need. The project
focused on providing essential sanitary packs, each containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and dry
rations, to 170 children in the hospital's children's ward and the CCC home. In addition, 20 adult patients
also received these thoughtful packs to support their basic needs during their treatment.
The initiative was generously sponsored by Unilever Sri Lanka and Hemas Holdings PLC, whose contributions made
this endeavor possible. Beyond donations, the project included a two-hour performance by a calypso band,
designed to uplift the spirits of the children and create a cheerful atmosphere. Project Sahurda Dayada 4.2
demonstrated a heartfelt commitment to serving the community and brightening the lives of those facing
challenging times.

Playful Minds
Playful Minds is an ongoing initiative by the Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura, dedicated to empowering children
with special needs through engaging counseling sessions. Led by a highly experienced counselor and lecturer at
the University of Kelaniya, the project creates a nurturing environment for their holistic development. This
initiative focuses on fostering confidence, inclusivity, and emotional well-being, making a lasting impact on
young lives with expertise and compassion.
