Diriya Diwimaga 2.3
On the 15th of January, the Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura, in collaboration with the Saheli Foundation,
successfully carried out Diriya Diwimaga 2.3 at Castle Street Hospital, Colombo. This initiative aimed to
support expectant mothers by providing them with essential care packages and equipping them with vital
knowledge on postpartum well-being.
Understanding the challenges that come with motherhood, the project included an awareness session on

mothers on mental and physical health after childbirth but also emphasized the importance of emotional support
during this transformative period.
The distribution of care packages was a heartwarming gesture aimed at easing the journey of these soon-to-be
mothers. These packages contained essential items to support both the mother and baby, ensuring they receive
the necessary care during and after pregnancy.

collective efforts in creating a positive change in the community. The Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura remains
