Playful Minds
On the 22nd of July 2024, the Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura continued its dedication to community service
with a special project aimed at supporting differently abled children. We organized a counseling session at
the LOLC Child Care Center in Madiwela. And the session was led by Ms. Mayurangani, a skilled counselor known
for her expertise and compassionate approach. The project was chaired by Leo Sandinu Laksith, with the help of
fellow leos of our club.
The objective of this session was to provide emotional and psychological support to the children, helping them
navigate their unique challenges and fostering a positive outlook. Ms. Mayurangani engaged the children in
various activities designed to boost their self-esteem, improve their social skills, and enhance their overall
well-being. By offering continuous support through such projects, the Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura reaffirms
its commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.
