Eka Ikthaka Mal - Phase 01
The project “Eka Ikthaka Mal – Phase 01” was successfully conducted on 16th March 2026 from 10.00 a.m.
onwards at the Pre-Vocational Skill Development Center, Kottawa. This initiative was organized with the aim
of promoting emotional well-being and creative expression among the students of the center.
As part of the project, a therapeutic session was carried out using clay and paint as primary tools. Through
these activities, students were encouraged to express their thoughts, emotions, and imagination in a free and
supportive environment. The hands-on experience not only enhanced their creativity but also contributed to
improving their focus, confidence, and relaxation.
The session created a joyful and engaging atmosphere, allowing students to connect with each other while
exploring their artistic abilities. Overall, “Eka Ikthaka Mal – Phase 01” served as a meaningful step
towards fostering mental wellness and inclusivity, leaving a positive and lasting impact on all participants
involved.

Colours of Hope
The project “Colours of Hope” was successfully carried out on 29th March 2026 at the Madiwela Child Care
Center, with the aim of bringing joy, creativity, and emotional support to the children residing there. This
initiative focused on creating a safe and engaging environment where children could freely express themselves.
An art therapy session was conducted, allowing the children to explore their imagination through colors,
drawing, and creative activities. This experience helped them communicate their emotions, enhance their
creativity, and build confidence in a positive and supportive setting.
In addition to the session, evening tea and snacks were provided for the children, creating a warm and caring
atmosphere. The team also spent quality time interacting and bonding with them, making the day more
memorable.
Overall, “Colours of Hope” was a meaningful and heartwarming project that left a lasting impact on both the
children and the organizers.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Leo Club of Wickramasinghepura successfully conducted Diriya
Diwimaga 3.3 on 06th March 2026 at the MOH Office – Kelaniya.
This initiative was organized to empower women through awareness, guidance, and support, featuring
insightful sessions on sanitation, hygiene, positive mindset, and legal awareness related to women’s rights.
